Pagan Hours

"By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes,"

cried Extra the Faint of Heart.

"Oh wait, nevermind...

.... it's just the Lady Jessica."

....but soon we saw that Uncle Leo had slunk in, too.

Everyone knows he's slightly wicked.

Actually, so is Jessica.

But they were so cute together.

So we let them stay.

The Lady brought us gorgeous gifts: enchanted fabrics from her family's Salem homestead.

But then, quick as a wink....

.....the shady Uncle seized their magic for himself......

...and Pagan Hours had begun.

Sara barely survived her trek through endless feral woods, but arrived at the Bushwick Fort just before collapsing.

Luckily Lady Jessica remained a pillar, as the fragile girl was revived.....

Fortunately The Gup chose beauty over bloodshed, after noting how perfectly the Princess matched her coat. A protective Tom Cruise breathed a secret sigh of relief as he pretended to ignore the impending danger.

Then the valiant Firehorse stopped in,

and discovered a perfect new friend.

Claudia and Carissa held palaver under its sacred limbs, but remained ready for instant action in uniform Hero Bloomers.

The foursome was safe for the time being under the blessed branches that bear the miracle playsuits of far-flung fame.

And all was temporarily well.
